      <title>Happy 1st Birthday Isabella - Happy Birthday to My Husband Bob</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;When the birthdays of our loved ones comes along it's always a day of happiness.&amp;nbsp; My granddaughter Isabella was born last year on my husband's birthday so today our family celebrates her 1st birthday along with his.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We couldn't be together with her on this very special day because Isabella lives in Louisiana where my son is stationed in the U.S. Army.&amp;nbsp; It's especially hard when we can't spend these special moments together when our loved ones are so far away.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After coming home from the office today and enjoying a delicious spaghetti and crab sauce dinner with my birthday boy I was getting ready to pick up the phone to call Isabella when the phone rang.&amp;nbsp; I couldn't believe it when I looked at the phone and saw my son's number in Lousiana come up.&amp;nbsp; At the exact moment I was going to call to wish Isabella a happy birthday, he was calling to wish his Dad one too!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Since 2000 the &lt;strong&gt;Pardee-Morris House&lt;/strong&gt; has been closed to the public due to lack of funds but restoration work has been ongoing for the past few months so it could be opened again on a limited basis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Due to a some prior commitments already made for today, I was unable to get to the open house until about 3:45 giving me only a few minutes to get inside to take some photos of the interior.&amp;nbsp; There is still quite a bit of work to be done to fully restore this historic treasure but what a sense of history you could feel walking through the areas of the &lt;strong&gt;Pardee-Morris House&lt;/strong&gt; which were available to be seen.&lt;/p&gt;
