We have definitely hit the dog days of summer over the past couple of weeks with the high temperatures and humidity we've been experiencing along the Southern Connecticut shoreline. The cool ocean breezes that flow through the neighborhood of Morris Cove in New Haven CT has helped to lessen that heat and humidity to a bit lesser degree. What a great weekend it was to have fun in the sun at Lighthouse Point Park in the Morris Cove neighborhood of New Haven Connecticut. My 6 year old granddaughter Brooke was visiting for the long weekend and living only a short distance away from Lighthouse Point Park, we decided to take a little visit to the park. As you near the entrance to the beach, the first thing you see is the Splash Pad where children and adults frolic in a variety of water stations with water sprinkling and splashing from all directions.
