Snow...Snow...Go Away......Morris Cove Was Snowed In Today!!!

Call it a snow storm, blizzard or Nor'easter this one had to be one of the biggest storms I can remember in recent years in the Morris Cove New Haven CT area.  This morning you couldn't find a car, a truck or even a snow plow driving on the roads.  Around my street you didn't even see anyone outiside shoveling until after 10:00am.
Early this afternoon my husband and son started shoveling to try try and make a dent in what was more than a foot of snow and even bigger drifts … (4 comments)

new haven ct: Vietnam War Memorial - Long Wharf Park - New Haven CT - 08/17/09 02:56 PM
Today I had to meet a HVAC contractor to service the furnace and air conditioning at a condo that clients of mine recently rented in the Harbour Landing complex in New Haven.  This complex is located in an area of New Haven that I travel through frequenly.
Yet today as I drove down Long Wharf Drive whcih runs between 1-95 and the New Haven Harbor I noticed for the first time numerous monuments that were placed along the harbourfront.  It's funny how you drive by an area numerous times and don't take notice of the surroundings.
There was something that drew … (13 comments)
