In this most recent session, the Maryland legislature is attempting to tax services in order to increase the state's coffers. This tax would not only tax commissions, but also services such as: towing service, haircuts, escort service, surveys, termite treatment, title searches, etc (If I am not mistaken, legal services are NOT a part of this). As you can see, this tax could significantly increase the cost to purchase and sell homes.
In a "show of force", over 600 Realtors(r) rallied in Annapolis (Maryland's state capital) to demonstrate our opposition to the bill. It was a wonderful thing to see that many … (0 comments)
