foreclosures: A Full Service REO Property Preservation Team? - 01/20/10 11:08 AM
Are there any REO agents using full service REO companies? By that I mean, you get the Bank Owned Listing and its your job to get the property dialed in for sale. I know a guy who started a Full service REO company and has become very succesful in a short period of time assisting REO agents, Asset Managers and banks to prepare the property for sale. It appears as of right now, that an agent has a list of contractors that they hire to do the work. My friend, does all that for you. You only need to contact him.

foreclosures: Fannie Mae - A Property Manager? Really!? - 11/05/09 10:43 AM
Did anyone get the chance to see the article about Fannie Mae going into the rental business? In a recent article by MSNBC.COM, thousands of borrowers on the verge of foreclosure will have an option to rent their homes from Fannie Mae. They are calling it a "Deed for Lease" program, which will allow borrowers to transfer ownership to Fannie Mae and sign a one year lease with a month-to-month extension there after. From the practical side, I agree with the program. It stabilizes neighborhoods, eliminates some foreclosures, and keep some families in their homes during the uncertain times.
