Newington Forest - 08/13/08 02:17 PM

Newington Forest is a 734 acre community in southern Springfield, with over 1800 homes. The community boasts its own elementary school, a swimming pool complete with NVSL swim team-The Newington Neptunes, 6 tennis courts, 13 tot lots, a ballfield, and hiking/biking trails that wind their way in and through the community. More than 50% of the 734 acres is set aside specifically for common area.
Newington Forest is just minutes from I-95 and the Fairfax County Parkway (7100). Public transportation can't be beat either. There Lorton VRE (http://www.vre.org/service/lort.htm) is right around the corner, as is the Franconia/Springfield Station of the Metro's … (0 comments)
