I have been meeting with Bobby Lehmkuhl, Malibu Association of REALTORS President 2012, and the M.A.R. Education Committee members over the past few weeks regarding my participation and contribution to the Education Committee.
Needless to say, I have accepted the honor of sitting the Chair for the Education Committee. I look forward to bringing my passion for technology and Real Estate education to my fellow REALTORS! We are looking forward to having the trainers from the Apple Corporation hold an iPad training later this month.

At the City Council meeting on November 28, 2011, State Senator Fran Pavley honored Malibu as the first recipient of her new Sustainable City Award in recognition of the City's policies and practices which protect and preserve the environment.
The Senator congratulated the City for awards previously bestowed for its projects, such as Legacy Park and LEED-certified building, and commended Malibu for its leadership in being one of the first cities to ban plastic bags.

Frederick Hastings Rindge was the only surviving son of six children of the Rindge family of Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1883 he inherited his father's estate which was in excess of $2 million. Four years later he married 22-year old Rhoda May Knight, and in the same year they moved to California.

The end of the prehistoric era in California was marked by the explorations of Juan Cabrillo, who set sail from Navidad, Mexico in June 1542 with his two ships, the Victoria and the San Salvador.

The red planked canoes swung right and proceeded up the lagoon expertly beaching on the white sandy landfall at the mouth of a beautiful canyon. A few minutes earlier the rhythmic splashings of their double-ended paddles had been flashes on the horizon alerting the villagers that their brown-skinned braves were returning from the distant channel islands.
