Every summer the topic of summer vacations invariably comes up. When asked where I’m going, my first thought is “Why go anywhere when I live in one of the most beautiful places in the country?” My second thought is just how lucky I am. Yes, during the housing boom, getting a mortgage was easier than it is today.
