 In the week from 5/22 to 5/20/12 7 homes closed (sales were complete and title passed to the new owners) in Long Island’s Five Towns (Cedarhurst, Hewlett, Hewlett Bay Park, Hewlett Neck, Hewlett Harbor, Inwood, Lawrence, North Woodmere, Woodmere and Woodsburgh), East Rockaway and Lynbrook.
Home prices ranged from a high of $ 887,500 for a 5 bedroom split in Hewlett Harbor to a low price of $ 250,000 for a cape in East Rockaway.
The average days on market for these homes was 197 days. This was skewed a bit high by the Hewlett Harbor hoe which took 472 days to sell.
