Waiting for Inspiration To Hit - Need URL Name Help! - 05/29/07 03:22 PM
I feel naked without a website so computer addict that I am my next logical step in my Real Estate progression is my own website. Our agency uses VLSHomes, but you get your own URL. That is where I am having my problem
I cannot come up with a catchy name that I like.
I work on LI (Long Island) so thought of LIHomesbydonna or homesbydonna. They are on
ly OK - not quite what I want.
People have suggested simple like donnagalinsky.com - to me that is BORING.

Woodmere NY in the Summer - 05/27/07 07:09 PM
This had to be one of the nicest Memorial Day weekends weather-wise that we have had in years. What a way to start the summer.
As I was walking the boardwalk today I was thinking about how lucky I am and what a great place this is to live and raise children.
Each year I am more convinced that there are not many more perfect places than Long Island's South Shore to enjoy the summer.
Not only are you less than an hour from New York City, but during the summer months the traffic is lighter than usual, and the city emptier than usual. … (1 comments)

I have been contacting FSBOs and expireds, and networking with everyone I have contact with for listings.
Then I started thinking - with the market as it is (in our area at least) there is plenty of inventory but not enough buyers.
I though farming for buyers might be the way to go.
Thoughts that I had were targeting first time home buyers by mailing to buildings that I know are rentals, or using MLS to find people who have rented in the past 2 years or so. Also here is a huge influx of people into our area from another area of … (20 comments)

What a wonderful group you all are! I have picked up so much information since i discovered ActiveRain last week.
Since you are so wonderful I am turning to you for advice in how to step out of my comfort zone.....
About 3 months ago I finally decided the time was right to do something I had wanted to do for years. I took the plunge and got me Real Estate License.
I work in a great office with very supportive people, and have a couple of buyers that I am working with.
