Craigslist - Yeah or Nay? What has been your experience? - 07/22/10 10:01 AM
I wanted to see what others there thought of using Craigslist for real estate listings.
In my area on Long Island I have had no luck at all in the times I have tried it in the past. I use html from Postlets or Visual Tour.com. But no response
Yesterday I had some time on my hands so I thought I'd try it again. Nothing to lose - its free!
I thought I would give it a try with these 3 properties differing in type, style, price and neighborhood and see which segment got the best response.

Hot Day on Long Island? Stop by Five Pennies Creamery in Rockville Centre - 07/11/10 05:40 PM
We "discovered" this wonderful home-made ice cream store last night after dinner.
I can sum it up in one word YUM!!!
All the products are made in house.
The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY - kept offering us more and more flavors to taste - we had trouble making up our minds.
Our favorite flavors were: Apple Pie Ice Cream, Birthday Cake Ice Cream, Smurf Ice Cream (beware it makes your lips, teeth and skin BLUE), and Bing Cherry Ices.
In addition to fine ice cream, Five Pennies Creamery turns out Coney Island custard (a rich, soft-serve ice cream made with eggs) and … (0 comments)

July 4th + Broken Wrist = Disaster BUT for Priorty Pediatrics in Lynbrook, NY - 07/06/10 10:59 AM
So picture this -
It's mid afternoon on July 4th. At friends BBQ Pool party. Sun is shining, pool is cool, company is great, ribs on the grill, kids horseplaying in the yard.
OOPS in the blnk if an eye horseplay turns into injury. My son is grabbing his wrist and is obviously in pain.
Is there an Orthopedist in the house? Of course not. But we did have a GP and an EMT who both said it could be sprained - or broken LOL.
The thought of an Emergency Room on July 4th was extremely unappealing. Figured it would mean hours … (1 comments)
