How great is your life? Do you ever wonder how you stack up to others in your level of happiness? Since people liked the grammar quiz yesterday, I found this quiz and thought it would be interesting to see how others score.
I didn't actually score very high. I think the item that brought me down was the question about friends as I don't have many "close" friends and need/want more.

I can't believe it, but it's true... I've posted 500 blogs! This makes 501! When I first started blogging, I didn't quite know what to say. I knew I had a lot to say, but wasn't sure others cared about what I had to say, so I stuck to only factual, business related topics.
As I got more comfortable with blogging and read more and more blogs by other people, I realized blogging can be anything you want it to be. The word BLOG comes from the words "Web Log" and when you're logging things on the web, it's just another fancy … (29 comments)

ar: What Are Your Kids Doing These Days? - 07/07/08 09:23 AM
As most of you know, I have a baby. She's 7 ½ months old and will be 8 months on the 16th. I blog about her quite often as she amazes me so much. Each day, it's something different. There are many people within Active Rain that have young children. I thought it would be nice for everyone to brag about their kids right here, and let's see what everyone is doing.
Alyssa is crawling like crazy! It's funny that she even crawls because she refuses to sit down much of the time. She wants to be standing at all times. … (18 comments)

As I logged in this evening, I noticed that this is probably going to be my last night on the top of the Texas board. I've held the #1 spot for 2 years now, and it's been fun while it lasted. I'm sure I could have continued my reign if "life" didn't happen. It all started last Spring when I found out I was pregnant and I was too tired to post. I was lucky if I logged on a couple of times a month.
Because of that, I left the door open for others to catch up... But that's ok. … (30 comments)

ar: 200,000 Points- A Year and a Half in the Making! - 01/18/08 09:23 AM
With my last blog of the 2007 Dallas Ft Worth sales numbers, I passed the 200,000 point milestone.
I knew I was in the 190's and was watching for a while, but it seemed like it was moving very slow, and I stopped paying attention. I noticed 198k a couple of days ago, but I didn't realize I was almost there until I woke up with an email from Meg Zoller letting me know she's been watching and congratulated me because she knows I'm going to hit 200,000 today.

I received a call a couple of weeks ago from a home owner asking for a listing appointment. Her home is currently listed on the market, and she's in a city further north than what I usually take listings in, so I asked her how she found me... THANK YOU ACTIVE RAIN!
I also asked her if she thought the house hadn't sold because of the agent, or because of the house. She asked what I meant about it being the house's fault. I asked some leading questions, and it looks like it is partially the house's fault for it not selling, … (22 comments)
