For a couple of years, the view outside my office window was a vacant lot across the street. The builders had not put a house there yet. I thought it would be fun to capture the entire building process on video, so I waited and waited for them to start "moving dirt", as they say. One day, I finally saw the dumpster appear. Falconhead West in Bee Cave TX had our annual Fall Festival yesterday sponsored by the Falconhead West HOA. Alyssa and Landon both had a blast. This year, there were two bounce houses instead of just one, so there was plenty of jumping room for everyone.
There was also a Rock Climbing wall and Alyssa dared to try it this year. She loved it!
Landon spent his time playing on the playscape climbing up his own version of a rock wall, and then going head first down the slide, as is his trademark sliding routine.

Falconhead West - Bee Cave Austin TX was on KVUE News yesterday. Last winter, we experienced very low temperatures and the propane tanks supplied by FerrellGas froze up and we were without heat for several days. I had an infant, only a few weeks old, and our house was 53 degrees. It wasn't until day 2 where Ferrell Gas offered to put up homeowners at a local hotel, but I wasn't going to pack up a 3 year old as well as an infant to live in a hotel. Falconhead West Bee Cave Austin TX is finally getting their community park and playground. Back in November, I mentioned Falconhead West's playground was finally fully approved, but it sat as dirt for a long time. It's more than three months later, and it looks like some fairly decent progress is being made.

The ground was leveled and the stone barrier was made into a playful shape... and then last month, it all disappeared...Where did it go? Falconhead PGA Golf Course - Bee Cave TX - is a very nice golf course. My husband plays it all the time. Every single day, I have to drive past the driving range and some of the course, and the greens always look to be actually green and not brown.

Falconhead - Bee Cave TX - Golf Course Community is a great place to call home! Buying into the community does not automatically make you a member of the Falconhead Golf Club. Falconhead Golf Club opened in 2003 and is a PGA Tour design course. Instead of just the typical three tee boxes, Women's Men's, and Professional's, this course has five sets of tee boxes for every level.

Falconhead West Bee Cave TX's TailGate party was a huge success! Each time I drove by, there were tons of cars. Alyssa and I stopped by at one point so she could bounce in the bounce house, however, we never made it that far. There are lots of deer running through my neighborhood of Falconhead West in Bee Cave, TX, but it was even more amazing to find this tree that looks so much like a deer, right down the street from my house.
From this angle, you can see he has found his way to the Model Homes (per the sign in the background, in case you missed it).

I have a couple of Spanish Oak trees in my backyard, and I also back up to a Natural Greenbelt area with thousands of Spanish Oaks.
Here is a picture of the leaves on the Spanish Oak tree:
Well, it looks like my trees are having an identity crisis. Look at the leaves that are currently growing in clusters all over the trees...
What is this, and why is it happening? They are two very distinctive kinds of leaves. These trees have to be OLD as this was untouched land prior to my community of Falconhead West being built … (9 comments)

Falconhead West in Bee Cave, TX, a small suburb just West of Austin, TX, is growing and growing so fast!
Just a few weeks ago, I talked about how the Builders had sold all but a couple of their inventory homes, and new construction had slowed down a bit... and then all of a sudden, new house after new house started going up.
There are currently approximately 20 houses in various stages of building. Some are in frame stage.
Some are in Sheetrock and Exterior stage, such as stucco, stone, or brick.

And do you find yourself wasting time looking at your view? Or do you not pay much attention to it?
