hoa: Falconhead West, Bee Cave's Newest Community - 05/08/09 01:22 PM

Bee Cave, TX was a place of 656 people at the last census. I'm sure when the census is done next year that there will be well over 1000.
Bee Cave is a great place in the South West area of Austin. It's directly West of Downtown Austin, and it's just South of Lakeway. Bee Cave is easiest described as being located at the intersection of 620 and 71 at the new Galleria.

hoa: Home Owner's Associations Going to Far? - 08/19/08 11:02 AM

There is currently a man in Frisco, TX fighting with his HOA because he drives a 2007 Ford F-150. The fight is because the Ford is not a "fancier" vehicle nor is it "plush with amenities" according to one of the HOA board members.
Because it's not a Cadillac Escalade or a Lincoln Mark LT, he cannot park his truck in his private driveway. One of his neighbors got an attorney and fought when they criticized his Chevy Avalanche, so the Avalanche is now part of the included list.

hoa: Dallas Real Estate- Sex Offenders - 09/04/06 12:46 PM

I received notice from my HOA last week that the city council is discussing new rules for sex offenders. They're wanting to map out certain areas and say that they're not allowed to buy houses there. But, the downside is that they don't want a bunch of sex offenders all piled up in one area of the city.
My community was built in several phases, but mainly in two distinct phases. My section has an HOA and the other section doesn't. Before I bought the house last year, there was apparently a vote to force the other section into the HOA, but … (7 comments)
