topsy turvey: Blogging About Personal vs Business - Personal Wins! - 06/21/11 10:37 AM
Recently, I was on a Panel of three blogging agents from various parts of the country. I'm in Austin TX, one agent was in Huntsville TX, and the other was in Surprise AZ.  Most people would agree that Austin is a fairly large Metro area as it has about 1.5M people.  Huntsville is a fairly small area in East Texas. Surprise AZ is mostly a retirement area of over 55+ communities.  With that, these three areas are vastly different. All three of us have very different blogging styles, yet our styles work for us in our particular markets.I went and looked at … (141 comments)

topsy turvey: How I Use My ActiveRain Blog to Enhance Relationships - 10/29/09 02:03 PM
I use my blog in many ways to enhance relationships with friends, family, clients, and others across the world wide web, which includes ActiveRain.I've been here at ActiveRain since the beginning, back in the Summer of 2006.  I didn't completely understand the concept of blogging, but gave it a shot.  Weeks and months went on, and I feel I figured it out.  A blog is just a "Web Log" which is like a diary.  I started making my blog more personal, about me and my experiences, instead of just plain real estate information, and the followers came.I'm definitely not afraid to … (12 comments)

topsy turvey: Topsy Turvey Update- It's been 3 weeks - 05/26/09 09:17 AM
Many of you saw my previous blog about the Topsy Turvey and you asked to keep you posted on the progress.
Well, it's now been three weeks!!  This is the LONGEST that I've ever kept a tomato plant alive!!  My thumb is so green right now!!
I still only have the two tomatoes, but look at the size of them compared to three weeks ago in the above link.  There is also a small one that has been budding all week, but it's still smaller than a petite pea.

There are several other places where it looks like the beginnings … (16 comments)

This blog is to help educate Buyers, Sellers and even other Realtors across the country.  Each market is different and the way Real Estate is done is different.  Austin Real Estate is completely different than Dallas, California and Florida and everywhere else in between.  Some times there will be other things besides real estate as I like to rant and rave as much as the next!!  Come back often!
