The final numbers are in for 2007 - 01/18/08 05:54 PM
The final numbers on the housing market  are in for 2007...
let's make 2008 a more financially upbeat year...we have the power and  the numbers!
WE have the power of the word and the internet ...we can be a force to reckon!  The effort must be a collective internet "holler"!
Let's get on the blogs, e-mail, newsletters and every viable form of communication to consumers and let old , new and potential clients know that interest rates are at 2005 lows.  We, as Real Estate and Real Estate related professionals  should be in a constant race to head off the MEDIA doomsday scenarios about the housing market,  blanketing the … (0 comments)

Donald Trump and Jim Cramer of CNBC speak Housing - 01/18/08 02:31 PM
Hi everyone...
I just finished watching a very interesting video of a conversation between Donald Trump and Jim Cramer of CNBC on the state of the housing market.
This video is particularly interesting because of Trumps concept of the relationship between interest rates and the price of OIL.
Listen to Donald talk about the Oil Monopoly

Conversational Bloggings - 01/15/08 03:59 PM
I have been blogging off and on several sites for about a year now.  One thing I have noticed with a majority of collective blog-sites  is that very few comment on a single blog....makes me question how community can develop.  Now, don't get me wrong...I know we are all busy efforting to gain exposure and SEO but would it not be more interesting and more develop-mental for us to leave a comment now and again to create a conversational story. As Real  Estate Professionals some rapport would offer prospective clients some develop-mental conversation between Realtors on topics of interest to them and hold their attention for awhile … (0 comments)

Georgia Foreclosure Story - 01/15/08 01:28 AM
Just read in the Atlanta Journal constitution that Foreclosures in Georgia have risen 45% from the same figures last year for homes that are on the foreclosure list according to Equitydepot.com.
6,992 are on the roster to be foreclosed on in the next month...yikes!
Here is a link to the story...make sure you read the comments at the bottom of page of link, that people from around the Georgia area have made....makes for some interesting reading!

JUST BOUGHT THE CANON 400D REBEL XTI - 01/13/08 10:15 PM
I finally broke down and bought my first digital SLR camera.  It is the Canon 400D rebel XTI.
I am very excited about it and will be reading all the manuals before diving in.  I used to use a plain old SLR and then a mid-priced digital.  The point and shoot digital cameras just don't take pictures like a SLR.
Now with a Digital SLR the best of both worlds is brought together and a decent one takes great pictures in low-light based on research and seeing actual pictures taken....very exciting for Realtors since alot of pictures are taken inside.  If I weren't … (2 comments)

Another Rate Cut? - 01/11/08 10:25 AM
Looks like a half point rate cut by January end!
Looks like some additional releif will be felt after the next FEDs meeting at end of January.  It is being highly suggested that the Federal Reserve will cut rates charged to banks a half percentage point.
If this does happen, these lowered rates will begin to cause the Atlanta market to begin to steady price-wise and if buyers are not getting ready to jump on homes, they may find themselves in increasingly less negotiative positions.  Will it take the fear out of sellers...perhaps not right away...but if rates continue to drop Sellers will … (0 comments)

MORE RELIEF FOR MORTGAGORS? - 01/09/08 01:51 PM
Some sub prime mortgage borrowers are getting a bit of relief and based on the following story, Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson Hints at Expansion of Rate Freeze...read the full story.
This whole debacle is an amazing flood of blame games...Investors groan over borrowers who "cannot read" and borrowers scramble to blame the system because they are flirting with defaults based on, largely agreements that they took upon themelves...can I get a few bloggers to add their blog-sense to all this?
