To Vaca or Not That is the Question………
With gas prices constantly moving up and down, mostly UP!  Not to mention other prices doing the same, it is hard for some to even consider taking a get-a-way vacation.
If you are new to the area or maybe you are a home body like me and just don’t get out, you may not know of places around the Greater St. Charles, MO area.  There is a wealth of things to do right here and they won’t cost a boatload of money either!  In this series I hope to show what one … (5 comments)

Monday Motivation………..I have a RIGHT!
"The right to do something does not mean that doing it is right."
~ William Safire ~

I have often wondered where the saying, “Just do it and then ask for forgiveness later”, came from.  I always try doing the right thing and more often I do the right thing.  Then there are times that I let me get the best of me and because I can do something I will lower my head like a bull and plow right through something because I have a right to.It is during those times of doing something … (6 comments)

Rubber Eraser DayFor all those prone to making a mistake Rubber Eraser Day will always fall on April 15th……………….Make no mistake about it; Rubber Eraser Day celebrates the invention of erasers. We all make mistakes. I thought I did once and then found out I didn’t.  This day is designated to recognize and appreciate the value of that little rubber thingy that sits atop our pencils. When one makes a mistake, they are the big "cover-up", oops, make that eraser, of our faux pax (I prefer to call them a booboo). Just imagine how messy our documents would be without it!Why … (10 comments)

Stopping by to say Thank You……..Yesterday I happened to have a couple of hours that I wasn’t doing anything while waiting for the little lady to finish up with a doctor visit.
So I thought that I would take a trip over to the St. Peters MO City Hall and pay a visit to some old friends.
I fail all too often to stop by and say hello and Thank You to them and yesterday was a perfect time to do just that.  The sun was shining and not a cloud was to be found in the sky.

In this business it takes time to be really good – and by that time you are obsolete.
~ Cher ~
There have been times, as I go through each day that I have wondered how long it takes to be really, really good in this business.  The one thing that I have come to understand is, it takes a lot of time invested in my own growth and development to be really good.If I would be given the choice I would take really good over being obsolete.   I don’t like the thought of being of no use … (17 comments)
