home ownership: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! Fear can often lead to a missed opportunity. - 06/27/10 09:19 AM
My good friend Richard Weisser has made some really good points about buying now. Don't miss out on the home of your dreams by hesitating. Via Richard Weisser Coweta Fayette Real Estate: Sometimes, it is human nature to second guess ourselves. After all, we have all made mistakes, and hopefully, we have learned from them. But sometimes, NOT following through on a major decision might be an even bigger mistake. Not all choices are wrong, and sometimes the upside potential far exceeds potential risks. Many potential homebuyers have been frightened out of the market by doom and gloom prognosticators that

home ownership: I really LOVE junk food - 01/31/09 10:22 AM
I really LOVE junk food And I would bet that you do too. Just the thought of reaching into a big bag of potato chips or picking up that jumbo burger piled high with cheese and the juice running down your arm. And what do you have sitting right next to the burger? A huge pile of fries and a nice frosty cold glass of your favorite beer! Now you're talking, move over momma daddy is coming to the table. This may not be a good healthy meal but boy it sure tastes good, doesn't it? Sometimes, in getting ready to

home ownership: Do I need an agent when buying a home? - 01/30/09 08:08 AM
Do I need an agent when buying a home? If you ask any REALTOR® that question they will tell you YES without even batting an eye. Now me on the other hand will ask you 9 questions and then answer the question. You see there are several items that a professional real estate salesperson can provide to you while in pursuit of your new home. So ask yourself these questions if you are considering going it alone in your purchase of a new home without the assistance of a real estate professional. Do I have time to research the residential housing

home ownership: Are you a "Smart" O'Fallon MO Homebuyer? - 12/17/08 05:19 AM
Are you a "Smart" O'Fallon MO Homebuyer? As we are nearing the end of 2008 and getting even closer to the New Year people start to think about the possibility of purchasing a new home. There are times that those thinking of a new home purchase are first time homebuyers. For the first time homebuyer or even those that are thinking about selling their current home and "right sizing" I would like to ask, have you taken the steps to be a "Smart" buyer? Have you looked at renting vs. buying to decide if there are enough benefits to YOU to

The negative media has been talking for to long about the downside of the real estate market. The negative media has said that the bubble is bursting! So here's one for you Mr. & Ms. Negative Media, on May 3, 2008 I listed this home in Ballwin, MO. The first buyer that came into this home wrote a contract and it was accepted and we will be closing on May 28, 2008. home ownership: One of our founding fathers is quoted as saying.............. - 04/30/08 08:37 PM
"Our cause is noble; it is the cause of mankind!" George Washington As a REALTOR® we have a noble cause and that cause is helping people achieve the American Dream of Home Ownership. We work everyday toward this ideal and fight hard to help our clients own a piece of the pie. I for one applaud what is being done for those that are eager to have their dream home. I once had the opportunity to hear Richard Mendenhall, past NAR President, make a very profound statement. He said "if you want to stop terrorism in the world sell them a house".
