The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was absent but had not phoned in sick one day. Needing to have an urgent problem with one of the main computers resolved, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper.
' Hello ? '
'Is your daddy home?' he asked. 
' Yes ,' whispered the small voice.
May I talk with him?' 
The child whispered, ' No .'

relax: Why Wordless Wednesdays - 02/25/09 10:43 AM
 

A month or so ago I came across a blog about Wordless Wednesdays. The blogger couldn't understand why people would post photos. "Isn't this supposed to be a site for professionals to share abilities and ideas?" he posted. I didn't respond to his blog because I didn't want to come off argumentative. The blog stuck with me though and after the incredibly stressful last couple of weeks I've had, I realize why I feel so protective of Wordless Wednesdays.
