I received a good tip the other day from Joe Thweatt with AmeriPro Funding.  Joe has been receiving feedback from the secondary market investors regarding HOA transfer fees.  The secondary market is now requiring that any HOA transfer fees be included when calculating out a borrowers APR on their truth-in-lending forms. Saturday, June 18th, 2011 Colt McCoy made a signing appearance at the "Academy" in NW Austin.  Colt took the Longhorns to the Rose Bowl in 2005 claiming the National Championship!  Now the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns...he is not forgotten!  Every fan tried to secure an event pass which were passed out starting at 10am!  The signing took place from 12-1pm and was limited to the first 250 fans!  Geno made the mistake of stopping in to pick something up...walking in not knowing this event was in progress he almost found himself jostled back out the front door of the store!

Every year we make sure we have a spreadsheet compiled of all sold properties in our Canyon Creek community for the previous year and the first half of the current year.  We do this to help our neighbors fight their estimated property tax appraisal which is sent out in April of each year.  We can petition to protest as long as it's lodged by May 31st of the current year.  We had the nicest call from a resident who utilized our spreadsheet to fight his property tax value and he was able to lower his property value at his hearing last week!  … (8 comments)

This is Josie ~ our son's puppy.  As he constantly says, "She wants to be a good dog".  Our son is a runner, swimmer and cyclist.  He has two Ironman races under his belt to give you an indication his work-outs are not for sissies.Josie is a puppy Lab so she needs exercise everyday...she has lots of energy and usually is like the energizer bunny...never stops!  This particular day Josie went for a long run and when they got back she had this soulful look. September is getting closer and we are very excited about our son's upcoming marriage to a lovely young lady in September.

NW Austin Terminators ~ Look at those winning smiles! - 06/01/11 07:30 AM
Saturday, May 29, 2011 in the NW Austin Town and Country League, the "Terminators" team won their championship meet.  It was held at the Brushy Creek Community Center and our youngest granddaughter's team started in the play offs at 8am (of course we were there to cheer them on)!  After moving through the ranks of playing the winners of different teams...the Terminators emerged as the Championship winners!
Look at the smile on their faces!!  In the first row, second from the left is our princess #5!!
