Buyers ask me if they should buy a home now or wait for prices to go lower? Austin never felt the dip in the housing market like the rest of the country, yet since 2008 when the mortgage crisis hit buyers listened to the national news. That of course is like listening to the national weather report!!Real Estate is local. Since January 2012 through May the inventory did not build like usual for the spring market in Austin, Texas. Interest rates remain low. Prices are stable and moving upward so now the fence sitters are jumping off and trying to find (15 comments)
I had the pleasure to represent a wonderful couple who actually purchased this house when I had it listed a few years ago. They made some excellent upgrades, had their first child and now are in the process of building a new home.
