Spotlight on Canyon Creek Stars ~ Canyon Creek Elementary NW Austin Myth Masters team to "Global DI" competition in Knoxville TN We are so proud of these 6 stars who are fifth grade students on the "Myth Masters" team for Canyon Creek Elementary. They have been working hard to learn creativity, team work and problem solving through performance and improvisation since September 2010 so they can have the opportunity to compete against teams from across the globe! They breezed through a Regional tournament in Kyle, Texas in Feb. 2011, went on to the State Tournament in April 2011 and now are qualified (10 comments)

I was reading a great blog by Richard Wiseman on Knowing Your Competition. It is crucial to understand what your competition is offering so you can create several higher levels of offerings that will make you stand out as a marketing guru. Of course you need to provide a good track record to cement the ideas you implement.Just this morning we emailed 3 of our sellers to let them know their homes were showcased in a local paper. Since we list many homes in the community our homes are often selected. We just came to terms on one of the homes (68 comments)
Do you know agents who try and do the very least to get by? Who don't invest in their own business? Who don't realize they have their own business? Who like to ride on the coattails of others hard work?
When we have an open house we utilize our professionally personalized signs with our names and phone numbers on all our directional signs. We place the directional's up early in the day to receive maximum exposure and place them in MANY strategic places making it easy to find our open houses (like Hansel & Gretel dropping (16 comments)
There are many Realtors out there competiting for listings. Do you find sellers are interviewing more agents to get the best value for their money? I am finding in today's market the seller wants results! They expect all the stops pulled out for their home in today's market. Do you have systems in place to handle your inventory? Do you have a well-recognized website that is updated continuously? Do you offer personalized video tours? Do you showcase your homes prominently on your website, your company's website, Realtor.com, Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo.com, etc.? Do you offer color brochures: inside and outside? (12 comments)
