What a week-end, showed property, enjoyed a date with my Geno and worked diligently on our income taxes to submit to our CPA (will be completed by the end of the week)!! Our 11 year old granddaughter Maggie chose Cheer Station to train in one of their class programs. They coach over 550 athletes and have the largest cheer gym in the Austin area. Maggie likes their philosophy that each child can reach their potential through positive guidance and self-esteem building and superior instruction. They consider all their athletes to be a part of one big family while striving to develop the “whole” athlete.A couple of Sunday's ago Maggie and her group performed in The Mardi Gras contest in San Marcus, TX and claimed first position in her Meteors group!

Canyon Creek Elementary is at it again! The Environment Awareness Committee is calling on the whole community to join in and help recycle your HEB grocery bags. Only HEB bags can be recycled in this program!
 
When you have 20-50 bags in hand, stack them facing the same direction, then roll them as tightly as possible from the bottom end up to the handle to create a small log. Use two separate bags, one at each end, to tie the log.
