In last night's showdown, Texas defeated No. 3 Alabama on the road with a final score of 34-24, putting an end to the Crimson Tide's remarkable 21-game home winning streak.
Texas secured their victory by outscoring Alabama 21-8 in the closing quarter, and it was Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers who stole the spotlight with his exceptional performance. It's hard to believe its December and only 23 days before Christmas! I have my tree up, mantel decorated and wreathes on my exterior windows hung. Geno would be proud of me. Our family went to the UT football game and we must have brought them good luck... 49-24!! We negotiated repairs for my seller so things are on track to close on December 20th. I met with sellers who are preparing their home to come on the market in February. They have a home under construction in FL. According to Niche the University of Texas is ranked as #1 Public University in America out of 100 Universities! Way to go Longhorns!! 1,713 colleges were looked at by Niche to compile its rankings. They took into account such factors as “the strength of the academic program, the aptitude of professors, the quality of campus amenities, and the general character of student life as well as student reviews. Time to Say Good-bye Jeff Dillard, our son, will be dearly missed. Our family will never forget his larger than life personality, big smile, mischievous, twinkling eyes and never ending stories and jokes! He adopted the Longhorns and showed everyone what a tailgate was all about. We're not sure, but, we think he had orange blood. His devoted wife and two boys fiercely fought for him throughout his illness every day.

Saturday, June 18th, 2011 Colt McCoy made a signing appearance at the "Academy" in NW Austin. Colt took the Longhorns to the Rose Bowl in 2005 claiming the National Championship! Now the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns...he is not forgotten! Every fan tried to secure an event pass which were passed out starting at 10am! The signing took place from 12-1pm and was limited to the first 250 fans! Geno made the mistake of stopping in to pick something up...walking in not knowing this event was in progress he almost found himself jostled back out the front door of the store! … (14 comments)
The Texas Exes at The University of Texas are celebrating their 125th Anniversary throughout 2010. The alumni association started with 34 graduates in 1885 and has grown today to 91,000 members. My daughter and husband are both Texas Exes and foster the Longhorn spirit in their 3 kids.
