We are so fortunate to have CBRE as landlords! Our NW Coldwell Banker United office resides on the 6th floor of the Arboretum Plaza in Building One and we not only love our location, we love our landlord! They make sure they show appreciation of all their tenants throughout the year as well as keeping our buildings and grounds in excellent condition!

One way to measure the success of an event is the attendance! Saturday afternoon, December 2nd judging from the lines of neighbors, a mile of cars parked on both sides of Boulder in front of Canyon Creek Park and the clamor to ride in the horse drawn carriage with kids giggling and waving, the decision was unanimous: The event was a raging success!!
I’m thankful our community embraces the holiday season with such spirit and liveliness. Everyone’s willingness to learn about the diverse cultures and traditions in our community is inspirational because acceptance, understanding and love are THE key elements of Christianity.

Our Coldwell Banker NW office makes it a point to make a difference in the communities we serve.  We found out the number one need for the homeless with the cold weather approaching is SOCKS! Who knew?
Our office immediately set out on a mission to collect SOCKS for men, women and children in shelters and on the street.   We now have two boxes filled and are working on a third! By the end of the week who knows how many we will have!
We are also accepting gloves, hats and scarves.  Once collected, Mobile Loaves and Fishes will distribute them to those in need.

The October 2017 Central Texas housing Market report was released on November 14, 2017 by the Austin Board of Realtors®. Single-family home sales increased across the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) in October. It was interesting to note sales declined in the City of Austin.

Congratulations to my seller on closing his home in Canyon Creek . He reached out to me last spring when his listing was a few days from expiring with another agent. He wasn’t receiving showings; no marketing was in place and the home had been on the market a long time with no offers. I told him if he kept the home off the market for 90 days he could list the home with zero days on market in time for the fall market.

The weather couldn’t have been nicer for the Canyon Creek HOA “Fall Festival” held at Trail head Park on Saturday afternoon October 28, 2017! Kudos to Tara Hernandez and Jade Braun for spearheading once again the HOA Fall Festival creating yet another memory making event for the community! So many fun activities from pumpkin painting, face painting, temporary tattoos, a petting zoo, an assortment of fun games and a balloon designer creating so many fun animals for the kids. There was definitely a chill in the air Friday October 27th for the annual Canyon Creek Elementary 1K Fun Run around the school!
Parents and students came out and made sure they supported this annual event. Austin experienced some unusual chilly weather for October but it didn’t deter students and parents from participating!! Registration was at 5:15pm and warm up started promptly at 5:45 pm. Everyone was excited for the 6:00pm send off!
Kudos to Principal April Crawford and Assistant Principal Kelly Friede for being front and center sending off the runners and cheering everyone on!

I’m proud to say I’m the “most frequently hired agent in the Canyon Creek Subdivision.”
Check out Canyon Creek area single family homes sold in the Third Quarter of 2017 compared to 2016. The numbers are in and homes sold with positive appreciation. 2017 Third Quarter shows an increase in number of homes sales (by one) but a decrease in sales price (because smaller homes sold).
