I was on my way to a birthday luncheon and ran into a nearest HEB grocery to get some Helium balloons and they were so sorry..they were out of Helium. I stopped at another HEB..same story..I stopped at a Party Pig store that has tons of balloons and they were out!! Canyon Creek Elementary pulled out the stops this year for an event extravaganza! The annual Fun Run, National Night Out and The Scholastic Book Fair was celebrated on the school campus and what a fantastic turnout!Deputy Sheriff Elizabeth Eweld with the Law Enforcement Department worked diligently to provide a STARflighthelicopter, a Fire Engine, the Sheriff cars and a tow truck for the National Night Out event!

It’s that time of year and today Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 is the first home game for UT! They are playing Wyoming and the game begins at 7pm!! While we were on a water tour through the cityscape in Berlin Germany we passed by “Molecule Man” standing 100 feet tall in front of the Allianz Corporation headquarters positioned near the middle of the Spree River.The Molecule Man was completed in 1997 by Jonathan Borofsky. He enjoys creating symbols of hopes of the future. His works are usually designed for public arenas rather than art galleries.
