NW Austin Recreation center gets a FaceliftThe Pickfair Recreation Center located in Northwest Austin at 10904 Pickfair Drive is going to undergo an up to $346,000 renovation this month of May 2012. This will bring the facility up to ADA standards.
The recreations center was built in 1988 and once served as the fire station for the Travis County Municipal Utility District. There has been a 10% increase in the purchase of smaller square footage homes therefore the average sold price is down 6%. Smaller square footage homes tend to sell at a higher price per square foot therefore its understandable the price per square foot increased by 5%.
