I got the opportunity to meet Mike Hogan aka @RVARealtor on twitter today at a last minutes notice. He met me for coffee in Richmond at a cute little coffee shop @captainbuzzys.
It was like meeting a friend that I hadn't seen in awhile. We had chatted many times on facebook and twitter just about life. Nothing business. It was great to finally meet him. He is just as nice in person as he is online.

Whew it has been a whirlwind the past few months and I can't complain. I started with New American Mortgage in the beginning of March and had more successes in the past few months I think than in my whole career as a mortgage consultant in the past 6 years. I am so greatful for the quick success but sad for the amount of time it has taken me from my young and growing family.

I don't know what happened but I almost totally forgot to write my blog post for National Procrastination Week which is March 2-8 2009 this year.

So I guess the new thing now is video chatting and messaging. I have found some cool new sites that are all available and free to use.
Most laptops these days already come with the built in webcam making it very convenient to communicate in different ways with your business associates, clients and friends.
I originally got it because my mother lives in Omaha and we live in Virginia Beach and can video chat with the kids and she keep up with them. But I have found many other good ways to use it.

Twice this week I had customers actually tell me that they did "Google" me to find out more information. One customer actually was looking me up online as I was taking his application so that he could find out who I was. After about 15 minutes of going through it with him online and even pointing him to my blog he was quite impressed and I did get his full application.
