I wanted to thank the girls at HRRA YPN that invited me out to speak at last months meeting. It was a great success I believe with 55 participants. I had the great opportunity to speak to them on social networking - Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin for their business.
HRRA YPN is Hampton Roads Realtors Association Young Professionals Network.

I am just wondering from those that know me if I look the same as my profile picture that was taken 2 years ago. I had 2 recent experiences lately that got me thinking about this and the power of having a complete profile on your social networking sites and blogs.

So I guess the new thing now is video chatting and messaging. I have found some cool new sites that are all available and free to use.
Most laptops these days already come with the built in webcam making it very convenient to communicate in different ways with your business associates, clients and friends.
I originally got it because my mother lives in Omaha and we live in Virginia Beach and can video chat with the kids and she keep up with them. But I have found many other good ways to use it.

I recently started a new meetup in my area called The Hampton Roads Internet Marketing and Technology Group and we had our 2nd meetup last week.
