IS YOUR COMPANY MILITARY FRIENDLY? - 07/14/10 11:30 AM
What is a military friendly company?  It's more than having collections for toys at Christmas or flying your flag proudly or tieing a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree.  Not that we should stop doing this but maybe we need to do more.
There are many types of military we can serve, the reserve, guardsmen, how about the support of the families with deployed spouses, or the newly seperated from the service with or without service related injuries.
We need to become more military friendly, not because it will bring in more closings but it's the right thing to do!

There's Never Been A Better Time to Work with Buyers - 07/13/10 07:40 PM
The Homebuyer Tax Credit is now ,over and you think the buyers have all gone into hibernation. 
Okay, so you think life as you knew it is over, but what a great time to dust off your old marketing strategies and get out there.
How about widening you networking sphere with things like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.  But don't forget the face-to-face networking.
Or get your ABR Certification(Accredited Buyer Representative) and spread the word that you have many new tools available to assist your buyers.
Go to new sites like the HUD or Fannie Mae Foreclosures sites, use something besides the MLS to find … (4 comments)

Oh, those Dear Deers - 07/12/10 05:51 PM
No more Bami Syndrome for this girl, Oh, those darling little "Bambi's" they are devoring my garden. 
We live in a large subdivision ( like in surrounded by homes) near Old Hickory Lake and the deer do roam, right into my back yard. 
Our beautiful garden which surrived the 2010 Nashville Flood.  May not survive those "dear deer" they have found us and they think they have an open invitation to our tomato plants.  They must not like bell peppers or grapes, because they haven't touched them.

NEW SHORT SALE GUIDELINES - 07/12/10 11:51 AM
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have issured some guidelines for short sales.  They are similar to those issued by the Treasurey Department but have included some time limits for lenders.
The Treasury Department plan.  HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives) which went into effect in April 2010.
The Treasury department plan:
Sets time limits for lenders to approve or reject Short Sale requests                       (10 days) It limits subordinate lien-holders from interfering with the process                                       (no more than $6,000) Their are incentives for borrowers and lenders for completing the process                        (up to $3000 to borrowers) and streamlines the documentation necessary … (1 comments)
