wireless: Wireless service in Greenville and Upstate South Carolina to get better - 12/14/07 07:46 AM
Good news for real estate agents and all other heavy cell phone users.
Wireless service should soon get better and offer more advanced features around Greenville, Spartanburg and Clemson. At&T will upgrade and expand service including deployment of third generation 3G broadband mobile network in early 2008. According to wikipedia.com : "3G technologies enable network operators to offer users a wider range of more advanced services while achieving greater network capacity through improved spectral efficiency. Services include wide-area wireless voice telephony and broadband wireless data, all in a mobile environment. Typically, they provide service at 5-10 Mb per second".For mobile services … (1 comments)
