The best team all year has been the San Diego Chargers. The best playoff team over the last decade has been the New England Patriots. History is on the Patriots side but the best team will win today.  San Diego's Thomlinson will dominate and get atleast 100+ yards today. New England's Tom Brady will not have the day he expects, as the Chargers defense will control the line of scrimmage and confuse Brady.
My prediction: San Diego by 10, score 28-18.

I think it is probably fair to say that whomever comes out of the AFC will win the whole thing.  Today's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens is a tale of two very different teams. Indy has the offense and Baltimore is known for their defense. Is the old saying true, defense wins ballgames? Yes, Steve McNair will provide just enough offense for the Ravens to pull this thing off and the D will hold the Colts to three touchdowns or less.  My final score, Indy 24, Baltimore 28. To anyone that cares.... my cottage listing in High Plains Village is under contract. Yes, the perception is that the market is very slow and with the recent snow storms, very few buyers. The lesson here is price it right, fix it up, keep it spotless, know your competition and be patient.
Remember: if no one comes to the dance floor, no one is dancing. Pricing it right (from the beginning) will get people to the dance floor (showings).  With plenty of showings, a seller can expect and offer (assuming that it's fixed up and clean as a whistle).

Even A Gator Fan Has To Be In A State Of Disbelief - 01/08/07 10:48 PM
I can't even watch it anymore! At the of the 3rd quarter, I turned it off. My friendly bets had Ohio State pulling it off but by a slim margin and my point total was less than 40. The bottom line is this:
1) The worse thing that could have happened to Ohio State was Ten Ginn Jr. returning the opening kick for a touchdown. It seemed to create an overconfidence (too early).
2) Urban Meyer having over a month to game plan.

Pro vs College Football? - 01/07/07 08:34 PM
As I was watching the pro teams go at it this weekend, I couldn't help but think about tomorrow's College National Championship Game.  The pro games just confirmed to me that every team that won this weekend will lose next weekend (including New England).  The pro game is too predictable and frankly, not as exciting to watch. College, on the other hand is more fun to watch (Boise St vs Oklahoma). As a former agent in Southern California, I can hands-down tell you that IRES (Northern Colorado) is a much better MLS service than the SoCal MLS.  I have only been gone a few years now but I cannot imagine that SoCal MLS has made any drastic improvements to make their service better.

To all of you Lovelanders that have been trying to cope with all the snow, the holidays, getting back to work and school. Take heart! The city of Loveland will now start ticketing you if you do not have your sidewalks and other walkways cleared by Monday, January 8th. Being from a warm weather state (sorry, I'm not a native), I must be completely out of the loop. Why do sidewalks and walkways need to be cleared off? Today is one of my favorite days of the year. Being from Orange County, California I could care less about the Rose Parade. New Year's Day is about football baby!  I remember the days when all the major bowl games were played on this day (i.e. Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, etc).  Today, I could care less about any other game but the Rose Bowl.  My USC Trojans lost just about everybody from last years team and yet they had a shot to "go" again. I'm not bitter. Wait until next year and be damned you Bruins.
