Under Contract Just Before A Showing?! - 05/24/07 03:34 PM
So I called on Monday to set up a showing for Wednesday @ 5PM. I find out about an hour before my showing is to occur that the seller received an offer earlier in the day and decided to accept the offer about an hour before my showing.  My buyer still wanted to see the property and after viewing was very dissappointed that the home had gone under contract. He wanted to make an offer.

Eagles Win, Eagles Win!!! - 05/24/07 09:45 AM
What a game!  The Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League won the Ray Miron trophy last night at the Bud Events Center. It was great to be there to not only catch an exciting game but to also see the players raise the cup. The support of this hockey club is awesome. You would have thought that we won the Stanley Cup.
The game itself was back and forth with very few lulls in the game. To say the least, it was exciting throughout. Can't wait til' next year!

As many folks may already know, Loveland has been names several times in the last fews years as one of the best places to retire or re-invent yourself by numerous national magazine and publications.  With our aging (baby boomer) population, it seems that housing specifically geared for this generation is popping up all over the place. Housing Market Predicted to Rebound - 05/22/07 05:49 PM
According to Alan Garner, an econimist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, the slow housing market in Colorado is expected to rebound. This rebound is expected to outpace the national markets in 2008. The amount of foreclosures and sub-prime lender problems has certainly had an affect but according to Garner, will be short lived.
His theory is that Colorado has been it's own market for the last several years. As other parts of the country heated up, Colorado was somewhat stagnate but the growth rate has been steady. Employment and population growth have been on the rise in Colorado for … (2 comments)

Baseball Coming to Northern Colorado? - 05/17/07 02:46 PM
As a huge baseball fan, I am excited to hear that we may be getting a minor league baseball franchise here in Northern Colorado.  The plans are in the works to determine if we have a market that can support a team, where the money money would come from to build a ballpark and where the actual ballpark would be located. So far, the Ranch (next to the Bud Event Center) is the only venue mentioned.  This study will be ongoing but by early 2008, we should find out what are chances are for a team.

Since I was raised by a great Mother, I know the value and love that Mom's bring to the lives of their kids.  I cannot emphasize enough how much children (including adult children) should be so appreciative of all the sacrafices that their Mom's have had to endure for our benefit.
