Well the market is finally starting to show some life here in Central Maine. After a slow winter where people were more concerned about their heating bills than buying real estate, we are seeing a very active market. The condo market is especially busy and anything that is listed has lots of activity and they are moving quickly. Lets hope it continues! In other sectors we are seeing activity with prices being somewhat soft due to the presence of foreclosures in our area. We should see the average price increase in the next couple of months with all the buyers in the market right now. We haven't seen much sun and when we do see it on the weekend, the attendance at open houses has been somewhat dismal. If you haven't taken advantage of the tax credit yet, you may want to jump in now!
