Should you refinance? The answer is different for each borrower. The reasons to refinance are as follows..
1. Reduce your interest rate to (A) lower monthly payments or (B) payoff the loan faster
2. Cash out equity
The FAQ section will break down the question of "Should I Refinance" into detail. The bottom line is there needs to be a cash benefit for you AND you should plan to stay in the home long enough for that benefit to eventually outweigh the fees and closing costs associated with a refinance.
