Berkeley County wants to keep it's citizens informed with the use of the 2008 one cent tax increase for "financing the costs of highways, roads, bridges, and other transportation-related project facilities, and drainage facilities related thereto." This is a video from the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors (CTAR) with a year in review for 2010. Median sales price increased 6.9% in the 4th quarter to $190k and the number of homes on the market decreased in 2010. It looks like 2009 was the rock bottom and 2011 will be another transition year.
