I live on McCormick Ranch Golf course and feel just a bit spoiled waking up to these beautiful views each morning.

McCormick Ranch Parkway is one mile long, running only between Scottdale and Hayden Road at the south west entrance into the McCormick Ranch community. Someone told me they thought it was the prettiest road in Scottsdale. It's easy to see why, with the lakes, golf course and mountain views. This 15 second clip shows just a few of the scenic views along the way.

The first homes in Sandpiper were built in 1973, and housing values remained very static until the past couple of years. The graph below shows the rise in values, through the end of last year.
So far in 2007, the number of home sales are still low, with only 4 on record. Median sales price continues to rise, and is currently $589,500.

Sandpiper is a pretty quiet in the summer time, but as part-time and winter residents begin to return, the social calendar begins to fill up.
The Ladies' Monthly Luncheon is held during the second week of the month, and is open to any Sandpiper resident, their daughters, granddaughters, and friends.
This winter, organizers are also floating the idea of a Men's Luncheon Group.
The October Potluck will be help at Pool 8, on October 28th. Our spring event was so successful that we are planning another one. Mark the date and plan to come and meet with your neighbors.
