christmas: SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE THIS CHRISTMAS - 12/22/10 12:36 PM
Well, Christmas is right around the corner. Wasn't it just here last week? 2010's been very much a roller coaster year, dread, excitement, anticipation, fear, shock...rinse and repeat. As a family, we've been through a lot. In October, my Father-in-law lost his fight to cancer, after almost four years. It was a bittersweet ending; his suffering was over, but it left a big hole for those of us who had looked after him for that time. Working from home meant that I was primary caregiver, and I still find myself listening out to hear whether he's calling me, and stopping by

christmas: New Years Resolutions? Some DOs and DON'Ts - 12/26/08 12:29 PM
Christmas is over and New Year is next. Some of us, after going a little heavy on the festivities, may have decided that 2009 is the year we shape up, clean up and change for the better. This is the time of year when we say "after next week..." or "after the first...". There is an old saying along the lines that the road to the underworld is paved with good intentions and, when it comes to New Year's resolutions, I'd say that saying has some merit. christmas: It's a Wonderful Life...right? RIGHT? - 12/24/08 11:08 AM
As part of our family tradition, every year we have "Christmas movie night". It started when my daughter was very young and, at the time, we would watch A Charlie Brown Christmas and Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Easy enough to do in about an hour. Over the years, the list has grown to include the non-animated version of The Grinch, The Polar Express, It's a Wonderful Life, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Family Man. "Christmas movie night" turned into more of a "Christmas movie film festival". Now, not all of these are what some would consider true

christmas: So, it's Thanksgiving tomorrow... - 11/26/08 09:44 AM
The economy has tanked, foreclosures and unemployment are reaching new heights. We've just had a very hard-fought, very partisan election. No one has extra to spend or give this holiday season. There's an unease in the air. The retailers are doing all they can to salvage what they know is going to be an awful shopping season (many are opening on Thanksgiving and early too). And today it's raining (here in normally sunny Arizona). Everywhere you look there's a cloud. Sometimes it's really hard to find the silver lining but it's still worth looking. At the end of 2007 my father-in-law

My approach to my work is collaborative. There are many web design companies out there that sell you a template, take your deposit and get back to you with a finished site. At JDE, we don't do things that way. I firmly believe that in order to get the best results, you have to work with and not just for the client.
Please take a moment to read some of the testimonials on our website. Take a look at our portfolio. Our reputation for excellence and value is growing in leaps and bounds.
