Movies in the Park are back for 2007 in Old Settlers Park at the Virg Rabb Pavilion 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78664.  Every Friday night come out to Round Rock's Old Settlers Park for a movie presented by Time Warner Cable. All movies will be presented at the Virg Rabb Pavilion. The city of Round Rock in Williamson County is just 18.5 miles north of Austin Texas. It boasts a population of about 89,000 people. There were only 2,700 residents in 1970  showing the tremendous growth the city has experienced. Most of it having been since 1990. It's major employers are Dell Computer Corporation, Cypress Semiconductor, and Farmers insurance. It has two major shopping areas within it's city limits. Georgetown Texas established in 1848 and where Southwestern University was built in 1873 and the railroad in 1878. These two things contributed greatly to the growth and importance of the community. Today Georgetown is the County seat for Williamson County( 2006pop. 353,830). Population of Georgetown in 1980 was 9,468, in 1990 it was 14,842, and in 2000 it had grown to 28,339. Last month Austin home sales were up 2% compared to May 2006. Total sales were 2,679 homes. The Median sales price was $183,160 up 5% from a year earlier.  Active listings were up 8% year over year at 8,821 homes. The number of day a home sit on the market was down &% at 55 days average. While the national market trend is slowing Austin's market is continuing to rise. Homes appreciated 10% versus a national appreciation rate of 4%.

The Enchanted Rock is actually closer to Fredericksburg, Texas than is to Austin, Texas but is only about 90 miles to the west of Austin. Which makes for a great weekend trip. You can spend the day at Enchanted rock and spend the night in Fredericksburg Texas an old German community. Fredericksburg has lots of shopping and German restaurants. Nearby there is also 
Wildseed Farms where you can meander around and buy Wild Flower seeds. Or you can visit one of the many Texas Wineries in the Hill Country. This will truly provide for a full weekend of fun for all in the family!

When you think of an old fashioned swimming hole you should think of Hamilton Pool! 
Hamilton pool is by far one of the coolest places in the Austin area to hang out. It is one of the most naturally beautiful swimming holes in Texas.
