One might wonder if nature and a subdivision could go hand in hand? I say yes as I took this picture of the longhorn next to "The Ranch at Brushy Creek" Subdivision in Round Rock Texas. There was actually a small herd of about 12-15 longhorns. "The Ranch at Brushy Creek" is a fairly new development that is surrounded by a heavily wooded ranch and a creek.
In 1851 the 1st settlement in the area was along the banks of Brushy Creek. thus the settlement was named Brushy creek. Along the banks of the settlement was a distinct Round Rock, In 1854 … (5 comments)
