Most people watched the ball drop on New Years Eve with a small sigh of relief rather than a big WOOPIE!   Relief that they were still in tact and hopeful.  Hopeful to embrace all possibilities that a new year brings. 
Gone are the days of disposable homes -easily shed for a bigger and better one.  Homes were never meant to be a short-term step in our long term plan.  What's old is new again and yes (I am going to say it) our parents were right- a home is a long-term commitment. Bye-Bye "Flip This House"

Listed below is a summary of last month's home sales activity.  I have also listed the activity for the same month last year to show where the markets are headed.
It appears that Woodbridge which has remained steady throughout 2007 is experiencing its second month in home sale price increases. May was also a strong month for the town of Orange, CT showing a strengthening in price here also.
Milford, New Haven and Bethany continue to soften in price showing a drop of 11- 20 per cent from this time last year.
