foreclosure: FREE Foreclosure workshop February 14,2009 in Hartford Connecticut - 02/01/09 05:16 PM
 

 
Hope Now and Neighbor Works along with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will sponsor a free workshop on February 14th to homeowners having difficulty making their mortgage payments.   This workshop will take place at the Connecticut Convention Center at 100 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford CT from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.  Struggling homeowners will have a chance to talk with mortgage reps to discuss options to avoid foreclosure.    Be sure to bring all documentation regarding expenses, debts and mortgage info.

Although I do not own a crystal ball, I like all of you have been reading all about the unfolding shift in the real estate markets.  Starting with the sub-prime market debacle and the "resetting" of interest rates on those great "Own your dream house now" loans, homeowners across the country began to realize they were now longer living the dream but drowning in a housing nightmare.
Some of the responsibility lies in the fact that we are not a generation who "lives within our means". Instead we live on credit, without grasping the realization that tomorrow does eventually come.   So … (0 comments)
