We've been offering a Credit Builder program to our clients who are committed to getting themselves mortgage qualified, and are willing to do the work to get their credit cleaned up.  We have several success stories, but it takes time and a lot of effort.  We've had particularly good responses from clients who are local to our Waterbury, CT market.

My question for others of you out there is: What has been your experience with these credit improvement programs?  What do you think are the keys to success at cleaning up/building credit?  Do you see any programs that work consistently?  Any client predicters of success?  Just curious...
