We had a friend visit us for the weekend and she was so excited that one of her employees was headed off to the 2008 National Football Championships in Memphis, Tennessee this coming weekend. No biggie I thought, then it hit me "National Football Championship", how, what, who? Football is finished for a bit, right, maybe I lost a few months somewhere along the way?
Our friend went on to explain that her employee is a player for the West Michigan Mayhem.

Saturday, my baby will marry his beautiful fiancee.
Sara, has been the rock of our family as I went through a divorce to a bitter ex. Sara, has been there throughout the turmoil to help Josh understand the emotional roller coaster that goes along with divorce. The frustration that Josh has endured by having a parent that can't get rid of the bitter to get better, has put him in a predicament that any child young or old shouldn't have to go through in a life time. After spending a late night into the early morning being the voyeur I've become here on Active Rain, I was asked the dreaded question "Are you having an online relationship?" "Um, no honey", I quickly responded. She didn't buy that answer, darn! Digging deeper into my excuse file, I threw out a strong "Now why would you accuse me of such a thing?" hoping to take her edge away and gain the control of the conversation in my favor. I wanted to thank Dee Dee Hanson for going above and beyond her call of duty. Dee Dee helped myself and another fellow Active Rainer, (Todd Pierantoni) out when we ran into a pinch. My fax machine has been down and Dee was gracious enough to come to our rescue. Todd, is located in Grand Rapids and Dee Dee is in the Saugatuck area. The option was to make a road trip to Grand Rapids, nearly a 40 minute ride or find a fax machine near by.

Robert Brown is an excellent blogger who pays it forward. If you look at his comments made he has doubled the comments received. Looking over many Active Rainers, this is a rarity I have found.
I have never met Robert "yet" I feel as if I know him personally.

I would like to give Gary White a big ThemThem for his extravagant and fun writing skills he possesses. If those two words can ever be used within the same context, Gary has achieved it.  His blogs are always creative and informative.
Gary has started Flexit Realty in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He must endorse the Active Rain Network within his company as I see many of the Flexit agents posting here as well.
Gary is excellent on responding to comments left on his post, plus he goes out of his way to Rain on others posts as well.

I wanted to share a caring, energetic individual with the Active Rain family.
Bruce Bylsma deserves a big ThemThem from myself. Bruce and his wife Jan both worked for me for quite a few years. The positive flow into our office during their time was unbelievable. They each made it a joy to go to work.
Bruce handled the sales team and implemented many programs to make the business run smooth. I was sad to see the day he moved on to Sable Homes in our area. The offer he received was one he couldn't turn down. I can still remember the day … (20 comments)

I met Tammy Stone for the first time today during a tour of a condo with my daughter.
Tammy is a delightful lady and full of energy. She presented the condo nicely during a walk though and explained the features of the unit, along with the back ground of the building that was built in 1900.
Her follow up has been suburb. I would highly recommend Tammy's service to anyone looking to purchase or sell in the Greater Grand Rapids, MI area.
Tammy is an agent at Flexit Realty. Great job Tammy and keep up the excellent customer service. I was impressed!

Rollie Richardson is a man who experimented with drugs. Mr. Richardson is from Wilmington, Delaware and is known now as "Pastor Delaware."
Rollie was once a college graduate who worked in high-level public relations jobs, Richardson once looked down his nose at the homeless and those addicted to drugs.
Over coming his own addiction, he now pays it forward to the homeless who struggle with the same downfall he experienced.
This morning Mr. Richardson was featured on The Today Show, and what a touching story it was.

 Judy is the Executive Officer of The Grand Rapids Home Builders Association (HBA). I am proud to say that I have known Judy for well over 20 years.

I can still remember when I was young and loved playing with my trucks. I would spend endless hours with neighborhood friends, building fake cities in the sand box.
Hearing Mom call out my name when lunch was ready. Of course the lunch whistle hadn't blown on my construction site, but with enough prodding I would go enjoy a wonderful peanut butter and jelly sandwich Mom had made with love. Then back to my building project.

I wanted to welcome all the new members that signed up for the "ThemThem" Group.
I would normally send a welcome to each individual that joins a group. But with 38 new members in one day I felt a group thank you would be the quickest remedy.
