I just got a phone call from an acquaintance who is planning on moving in the next few years. His reason? He wanted to know what kind of appliances to buy that would appeal to the widest range of buyers in the future! YAAAAY! So often my clients move ahead with repairs or renovations which can be costly but make decisions that won't pay them back their investment. Examples include purchasing brand new white appliances where the market is preferring stainless steel, or white paint when buyers love the beige and creamy tones popular today.
