Make Your Newly Purchased Home a Breath of Fresh Air
Metro Milwaukee area DUCTZ owner recommends all new homeowners have duct system inspected
Milwaukee, WI July 28th 2008 - The National Association of Realtors states that summer is the most popular time of year to buy a home, and even in a deflated housing market, lower prices afford many the opportunity to become a homeowner. With this in mind, Neal Russo owner of DUCTZ Indoor Air Professionals of Metro Milwaukee is letting new homeowners in the Milwaukee area know that ductwork and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) service may be an integral part of turning a newly purchased house into a cleaner, more energy efficient home.
The United States Department of Energy states that the average home loses up to 40 percent of the heating or cooling energy through leaky or un-insulated duct systems. With energy costs at an all-time high, professional repair of inefficient ductwork could mean significant long-term savings. Additionally, Russo recommends that the HVAC system be inspected for significant amounts of debris that may have accumulated from the home's previous occupants.
"Just as you would clean the carpets or scrub the refrigerator to start with a clean slate and make the home your own," said Russo,"so should you rid your HVAC system of dust and debris left behind by the previous owner."
Russo echoes the recommendation of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association and the Environmental Protection Agency - if you can see visible dust, dirt, and debris, the system generally needs to be cleaned. However, the decision regarding the need for service should always be determined by a professional.
"DUCTZ prides itself in offering trustworthy, honest advice, and thorough, professional service," said Russo "I am pleased to educate Milwaukee area homeowners and help make the transition into their new homes as seamless as possible."
To schedule DUCTZ service, please call Neal Russo at 262-242-2205 or visit www.ductz.com.
DUCTZ was ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine as the number one duct-cleaning franchise, and 13th top new franchise for 2008. The expertise of DUCTZ reaches beyond simply cleaning air ducts to maximizing overall indoor air quality and providing for a healthier living environment. DUCTZ is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan with franchise locations nationwide, and is a member of the National Air Duct Cleaner's Association.
