I consider myself to be fiscally Conservative, and socially very Liberal.  With all of the changes coming down the line, I am blown away by the industry's response to these changes.  I also know that a lot of the industry is very Conservative.  In my mind, those two things do not match together. 
How can one be conservative, and NOT want people to have more money into a home?  Isn't being conservative all about saving money, lowering spending, and not over extending oneself??  That is what a higher down payment means, in my mind.  That a person has not gone out … (0 comments)

fha: Tax Credit/FHA Loans...could get some flack for this.... - 09/30/09 05:00 PM
There is a lot of talk today about how the tax credit HAS to be preserved because it is stabilizing the housing market, etc.  I do not buy it.  The tax credit is not having an impact on the market like was predicted, and in fact, is hurting the people of the United States.  I could get a lot of flack over this post, but I do not care.  This article here explains how this happens.  We can not keep giving people free money for buying a home.
