Ever received a small, colorful, shiny mini flyer coupons or offers in the mail in a fancy envelope? Typically its for food, grocery, lawn service, cleaner service and other random type advertisements from different companies. In some areas they call them valpak or money mailer and these are great services to use to get out marketing to your farm area I use.

In my last article about getting thousands of flyers out for free we broke down some steps on how to partner with other businesses to get marketing out to your farm area for free. Using valpak or money mailer is also another inexpensive way to get out marketing in huge quantities. The goal is to keep your prospects seeing your message time and time again til eventually they call you. The benefits of sending out multiple medias of marketing is:

  • To get your prospects to keep seeing you over and over
  • You look like an expert in your area
  • It gives your instant credibility
  • Gives you diversification in your marketing
  • Its cheap
  • its easy
  • and when they are ready to sell, most likely you'll get a call.

Valpak and money mailer usually let you market out by zip code and typically in the 10's of thousand which you will be able to send send out monthly or quarterly depending on volume and the program valpak or money mailer are running. Here are a few break downs on the two programs:

Each program is effective but like with all marketing you must test to see which one will work best for your particular marketing goals and objectives. In my area we have valpak but some of my other clients use money mailer and found it to be a good program as well.

You can also notice that you can choose different sizes of paper to put your message on. Depending on your goal and objective you can choose to do a 1 step method  and post your full marketing message on or use your 2 step message and send them to your automated 24 message line. If the room allows I would do my best to put a full 1 step message on the flyer.

Has anyone used any of these services in their marketing campaigns? If so, how did it work out for you?
