This will be my first Holiday/Winter Season in Hampton Roads and I am looking forward to it already. We have just had our first light snow flurries and cold weather and I'm amped up for the rest of it. When we moved to Norfolk in April we were having a tough time figuring out where to live. Which area? How far is it to the base? What's a good or bad area? What we ended up with was an apartment that is a good size for us in an area that is easy access to everything. Well, here I am in Norfolk, Virginia! We moved from San Diego, California and took two weeks to get here. Stopping to visit family in between and of course, we couldn't miss going to Graceland on the way. Graceland was wonderful! I experienced a week of life in the country where roosters crowed, men on tractors drove down the road and the best thing to do on a day off is running to Walmart.
