Mobile Office - I need help on this! - 06/29/08 09:08 PM
I've been working on getting my mobile office "up and running".  I'm wondering if there are some "rainers" out there who have blazed the trail ahead of me. I really want a decent printer with blue tooth capability so that I can print from my PDA and maybe WiFi for my laptop. I'm actually planning to have a mobile box so that I can move it from one vehicle to another. Help Help Help!!

Thanks,
Dwayne

Cool Nights & Hot Days - just like the housing market - Keep working! - 06/26/08 04:57 AM
There are days when my phone rings all day long - then there are days when it's just too quiet. Having only been in Real Estate for just over 5 years, I haven't experienced a "market correction" or "market downturn" - whatever you call it. (I've coined a new phrase - "mud-sucking market" since it's mostly on the bottom!)  I do love this weather because the days are warm enough to swim, yet the evenings are cool enough you don't break out in a sweat to sit on the front porch.  Our lives are ever changing like the weather and this … (3 comments)

Promise Rings to Wedding Rings - It's about committment - 06/15/08 08:53 PM
I had the priviledge of officiating my sons wedding yesterday. He and his fiance (now wife) had given each other promise rings over 4 years ago to committ to being sexually pure until marriage. It was a strong statement to have the rings on display by the ring bearer and to be able to share with the audience the meaning of those rings. They exchanged those rings for wedding rings and they are off to a life at another whole level of committment.  What if REALTORS wore promise rings to pledge our trust, honesty and integrity to the entire transaction process.  … (8 comments)

Whats the dang deal with interest rates? - 06/15/08 07:45 AM
Is there a decent leveling period in sight for the mortgage interest rates. Their recent quick rise is killing a deal that I've got going. I thought we were going to be stable for a while. Is anyone hearing from a good source where they may be headed and why?

Happy Fathers Day To All Dads! - 06/15/08 07:14 AM
Let's not take for granted the role and responsibility that we have with our children. Let's pour good values and ideals into them and most importantly set an example for them to follow. I have to be reminded every now and then that the reason I work is to provide for my family. So - Enjoy today (off) hanging out with family. For those without a Dad to honor - look to our Creator Dad - he can help you heal and grow!
Happy Fathers Day Dads!

Has the market hit the bottom? Short answer, YES! - 06/13/08 06:39 AM
I'm hearing rumblings from the so called market watchers and researchers that say we are finally at the bottom. I've been wondering when the market would finally stop falling and at least stay put for a while. Recenty, I spoke with some other realtors in our local market and they said their phones were ringing a bit more. I know that I've been scheduling more showings on my listings as well as working with more buyers than in recent months. I would love to think the worst is over. NOW is the time to buy - Inventory is still strong; Rates … (3 comments)
